The Fergus Story

My mother in-law has great instincts. She seems to always know the right thing to say, and never oversteps her boundaries. She has known for a while that we were looking to get a dog, and this is what she sends.

"I had to email this to you since you are thinking about getting a dog. A girl I work with is cousins with the owner and she would be happy to put you in touch with the owner of Jake, the black lab who needs a home. He’s three years old and looks like a big boy. He’s even a Jersey Boy. I think I’m in love with him. Let me know if you would like to meet him!

Needless to say, we looked at the pictures, met the dog, and within 6 days of receiving the email Fergus became ours!
